Unlike the water cool system, an air cool system has a limited use and, oftentimes, will leave the rider at a disadvantage. An air cooled system can only take in so much air to help cool down the motor in a 30 minute race. Especially when it’s 100 degrees or more. However, with a water cooled system, you have the radiator constantly cooling out the water. This allows it to stay cooled and keep it cool during the entire race.
